Who we are and what we do
A six-person advisory team based on Iftin Road, Garissa, serving buyers, sellers, landlords, and investors across the county.
Museumcompassk was founded in 2016 by a team of property professionals who had watched Garissa's rapid urban growth happen without the infrastructure of a formal, documentation-led property market to support it. Buyers were purchasing plots without verified surveys. Tenants were paying rent without written agreements. Sellers were accepting offers based on nothing more than a neighbour's opinion of value. The firm was built to address all three problems simultaneously. Today, we handle residential and commercial sales, rental placements, written valuations, and independent consulting for clients across Garissa County — from the town centre wards of Township and Waberi to the outer sub-locations of Balambala and Dadaab. Our work is grounded in physical site visits, documented comparables, and direct relationships with the county's land registry, conveyancers, and utility providers. We don't outsource our local knowledge to a database — we build it ourselves, ward by ward, transaction by transaction.
How we work and what we won't pretend

We operate from a single office on Iftin Road — no franchise branches, no remote-only advisors. All six members of the team are Garissa-based and reachable in person during business hours. We have completed more than 340 documented transactions since 2016, across every price bracket from a KSh 800,000 plot in a developing ward to a KSh 18,000,000 commercial compound in the town centre. Our process is built on written records at every stage: market appraisals, offer letters, screening reports, tenancy agreements, handover inspections, and valuation reports are all documented and shared with the relevant parties. What we do not do is equally important to state clearly. We don't provide legal advice or conveyancing — those services require a registered advocate. We don't guarantee sale timelines or rental yields, because markets are affected by factors outside any agent's control. And we don't represent both buyer and seller in the same transaction — a practice that creates conflicts of interest we consider unprofessional. If you're looking for an agent who'll tell you what you want to hear, we're probably not the right fit.
